12 weeks

11 weeks preggo!

I'm 11 weeks this week.... and feeling pretty good. Morning sickness set in last week however and I have begun what seems to be a long long list of foods that my baby doesn't like! This week we told our families. We went home to my parents house to go deer hunting and Bethany my little sister said to me "you look pregnant", still trying to hide our little secret I decided to tell a little white lie and told her no that I just didn't have time to work out any more and was getting a little chubby ;) Turns out she's not as gullible as she used to be when she was younger because she totally didn't buy it and by the end of the weekend she had the whole family knowing that we were expecting. We finally shared the news and everyone was delighted. Of course my mom and dad already knew and mark's parents as well because we had told them about three weeks prior because Tony got an inkling about our secret since we were hunting and I was totally nauseous watching the boys gut the animals. But we told Sam and Jacob and skyped my sister Charlene and held up a little sign that said "Ian will have a cousin May 27, 2013". Everyone was so excited for us! After we got back to Laramie we skyped Mark's older brother Bryan and his sister Melissa to tell them our news. We held a sign up to the screen that said "Baby Gillies will be blooming in May!" They were all so delighted for us. Kylie and Eric came over so that we could tell them in person... and thats how we spilled the beans :)! It is so fun to finally have our families know so that we can have more people sharing this joyous time with us!

Our Exciting New Addition

Since its been announced to everyone... Family and friends, and published on Facebook... I figured I'd better blog about our exciting new addition! Mark and I are expecting our first baby May 27, 2013! We found out we were expecting way back in September on the 19th and this news has truly changed our lives already for the better. We are so happy the Heavenly Father has granted us the wonderful opportunity to be parents and really do look forward to our little bundle of joy in May. Right now I am about 15 weeks along... Showing and loving it! Oh besides the morning sickness of course ;) but it will all be worth it in 6 months and counting! I will upload some of the pregnancy announcement pictures my good friend took for us. And I'll be keeping ya'll updated with bump pictures!
