A week at Grandma & Grandpa Gillies'
After our trip to Utah we traveled back to Lyman and stayed with Mark's parents for a week. We don't get to do that very often and since Melissa was up with he kids that week we decided to stick around and play. Mark was put to work though haha he ended up starting a couple of projects one of which he finished and the other he will finish when we go back up in a few weeks. He cut down all the over hanging branches for his mom that were starting to get close to the house and he helped plan out and build one of the extra deep planter boxes for her garden for next year. I am sure she is just thrilled that Mark was willing to work on his vacation... plus I don't think he minded too much!
While we visited Mark went golfing with his Dad in Evanston, we took the kiddos swimming one night at the Lyman pool, we went on lots of evening walks, the kids did a little splashing in the back yard pool (Easton was the only one who was decently dressed- his girly cousins decided to skinny dip haha), Easton and Molly fought way too much (they both have very strong personalities so they clash a bit- like brother and sister we kept saying), and I took family pictures for Melissa and Dallas. We also got to go up to Bridger Lake and fish and have a picnic for the day which is always fun. Before we headed back to Laramie we celebrated the 24th of July with a parade in the morning and then the lunch right after. We definitely had a lot of fun on our trip to Lyman this summer.

Bridger Lake 2015
Today we spent some family time up at Bridger Lake. We love visiting Lyman and taking a trip to the lake with our family. Easton loves the mountains and enjoyed riding in Grandpa's boat. He did really good until he dropped his little fishing pole over board and then he lost it and they had to bring him to shore! It's not easy being a toddler and not understanding why papa won't dive in after your fishing pole haha! We had a lovely little picnic and had a lot of fun being with cousins and family in the mountains.
