The New Year and the Flu

After Christmas we were able to travel up to my in laws in Lyman, Wyoming to spend a week with them. We got there with not too good of roads but we got there nonetheless. We kind of hung out for most of the day then in the afternoon we took the kids up to the gym to run around and to take grandkid pictures of them. I got to set up my backdrops and take these so it was really fun!
Then the rest of the "sic-cation" in Lyman went as follows… the next day Melissa, Dallas, and Molly got deathly ill with the flu that had gone through Eric on Christmas Day. Molly had it the worst … hers just seemed to stick around for a few days. A few days later Tony got it. Then a few days after that Mark got it. Then it was New Years Day! Happy New Years to the Gillies Family! haha! I welcomed 2015 with my little man and that was just right!
So we didn't get to do much and enjoy each other's company in good spirits but we did get to be with family. On New Years Day Night we went to our friend's Shane and Sarah's (something we always do New Years Eve but Easton and I spent that alone). We hung out and chatted like always it was really nice to get out of the sick house ;) Then we suddenly found out we could move into our new 3 bedroom apartment starting as soon as we got back and in order to miss the storm we had to leave a day earlier than we had planned. All in all it was a good "sick-cation"… everyone but Easton and I ended up sick and I think it spared Madyn too… Guess we are safe for now! Happy New Years! I hope 2015 brings you an abundance of happiness and blessings! Easton opening his present from Grandma & Grandpa Gillies and Molly keeping a close watch… it was a pretty cool toy ;)
Mr. Taters- this was our first time meeting Tate since he was born! He is such cutie and can put a smile on your face instantaneously when you see him!
Molly- even though she didn't feel well during most of our stay she was still happy, goofy, fun, loving Molly! She is such a joy in the Gillies family and she brings so much light and love when she is around. She truly lights up my life and I hope she knows how much I love her!
Madyn- we love miss Madyn! Easton really loves to play with her… they play so well together except when it came to Grandma's little rocking chair! It was quite the hit between these two!
Grandma with the most of the Grandkids… what a good looking bunch of babes!
Easton with is Grandma and Grandpa Gillies- he loves them so much!
