Easter 2015

For Easter this year instead of going to my parent's house like we usually do we stayed in Laramie and had our own little Easter fun. We took Easton to the Rec Center aquatic egg hunt which was so much fun. They separated the kids into age groups and we went the water to collect all the eggs they could then exchanged them for prizes. Easton of course picked out a lollipop! This kid has a sweet tooth! They had all sorts of Easter crafts and activities set up for the kids as well. It was a really fun time for Easton. The next day we took him to the egg hunt in Prexy's Pasture on campus… boy was this a different experience! There were tons of kids and tons of aggressive parents that swept the grass and guarded mounds of eggs for their children. I basically drug Easton by the arm and helped him collect a whopping 12 eggs! We got to watch the LDS General Conference on Easter Sunday this year which is always a treat! On Easter we had a little mini Easter egg hunt with his cousin Madyn and her other cousins up at Curt Gowdy State Park. That was a lot less crazy than the one on campus and Easton really got the hang of collecting the eggs. We had dinner with our friends Mike and Makailee later. It was my first time making a ham and it turned out pretty delicious! Easton is a spoiled little bunny! It is fun to watch his excitement at all the goodies and candy and takes me back to my own childhood and the joy that came with the whole Easter season. I'm so grateful for this Easter Sunday to be able to celebrate my Savior .. For His Atonement and the Resurection. For the anguish he went through that I may have such happiness as being a mother and a wife... Feeling grateful for my blessing today! Happy Easter... He Is Risen!

Easton's Easter Pictures

My amazing friend Amanda and I planned a little photo sessions for our kiddos tonight. I usually love to take pictures of Easton.. I mean he is the real reason I started my photography business- Little Blonde Moments Photography… However, she has a hard time capturing pictures of her little guy and I have the same issue with my busy little man so we swapped kids and these are the amazing Easter pictures she got of my little Mr. Maybe she runs after him faster than me but she really did capture his little personality… Sure love having such an awesome friend who can capture little East!
