Easton's First Thanksgiving

We went to Grandma and Grandpa Gillie's for Thanksgiving and got to spend some time with our family. Easton enjoyed seeing his cousins and being passed around.... no one could hold him that long though since he's a momma's boy but he definately enjoyed his thanksgiving dinner- ground up turkey, mashed potatoes, and mashed carrots.... plus about a whole roll... he loves bread! Love our turkey boy!!!! Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

Happy 1/2 Birthday to Easton

Easton turned 6 months old today! I cannot believe he is already half a year old.... where did the time go? He is getting bigger and bigger everyday... and keeps me soo busy! He is definitely a spitfire happy boy! Easton eats baby food and rice cereal now which probably explains why he's getting a little chunky in his cheeks.... he is like a human garbage disposal- he seriously likes everything we give him. His favorite foods are bananas, pears, carrots, and peas but he really likes everything (he just pounds those ones down like they are candy ha ha). Easton rolls everywhere he goes... hasn't quite figured out the army crawling thank goodness but he gets around the living room floor to his toys if he really wants to. He is sitting up like a pro- no more wobbles! Our boy is getting tooo big! Easton is just a happy little boy... he really lights up a room with his cute little smile and he squeals like he just loves to be here. We can already tell he is going to have a big personality! We went to his six month doctor check up and he is right on track for development. Dr. Anderson says he is a growing happy boy. His six month stats are- 26 1/8 inches (50%), 15 lbs. 5 oz (25%), and head 43.3 cm (25%) GROWING BOY! We sure love this little boy!

Loves his sippy and his fresh fruit eater

Easton really likes to drink water from his sippy. We also started giving him fresh fruit in this little net binky thing.... hard to explain but you put the fruit in and they can suck on it till it comes out like puree. He loves strawberries!!!! He also loves puff cereal and yogurt melts :) Love your little handsome boy!

Harvest Time In This Little Town

Easton and I left Laramie last Friday to go to Grandma and Grandpa Bullinger's house. Mark was coming up the next week anyway to go deer hunting so we hitched an early ride with a friend and got to spend more time with cousins and grandparents. Sam and Evan came up saturday and we hung out most of the day and then played outside in the crisp Autumn sunset :) Mark wasn't supposed to come until Thursday but late Tuesday night we got an unexpected knock and surprise at the door... it was daddy! Boy were we sooo happy to see him... we had missed him sooo much! We went to see Reg on thursday (my old boss) at his house and we stopped in at NAPA first to see Jerry and to our surprise Reg was there :) Not sure what Easton thought of Reg... he's a jolly round man with a happy little beard (he says he's Santa ha ha). All Easton could do was stare at him.... look nervously at mom.. and pull his beard :) On Halloween we went to the trunk or treat ... it was cold but we had a cute little lion on our hands ;) My brother Jacob got his first deer n friday a nice little two point buck! Saturday my Mom and Charlene headed back to Pullman, WA with her kiddos. My mom is going to help with Ian and Chloe while Matthew is gone on a rotation for two weeks. Easton and I just hung out all day. Mark got his deer .. a nice 4 by 3 buck...early Saturday morning which was fun... again Easton couldn't figure out what was happening but he seemed to be entertained by the deer hanging from the tree :) We sure had a fun trip to the farm... I love going back when it's harvest time... it is absolutely beautiful! Happy Harvest Ya'll!
