Easter 2011

This easter Mark and I went to my house again. Sam got her mission call this weekend so we decided to drive up to watch her open it and to see my family. We lest on Thursday and Sam rode with us, we picked up her boyfriend in Riverton, and got to my parent's house at about 10 pm. It was a very long drive, but worth it! The next day Sam's mission call came in the mail and my Grandma, Uncle Eric who was visiting from Vegas came down to watch her open it. We also had the company of my Aunt Mandy and Aunt Charlotte over the speaker phone and Charlene over Skype. Sam was very emotional and happy as she read that she would be called to serve in the Boston, Mass misson spanish speaking and even more emotional reading that she would be leaving June 8th to enter the MTC as the date is arriving very soon. Mark and I were very excited because this is where Mark's older brother Bryan served his mission and he loved it there! Sam is going to be such a great missionary but we will miss her while she is gone for 18 months.
Mark and I also got to go to Worland to go golfing this weekend... I was more like a caddy during the actual golfing but afterwards we got a bucket of range balls and i got to hit alot of them on the range. It was alot of fun and I got pretty good at hitting them straight. Mark says when it warms up we can go golfing here in Laramie together.
Sunday we went to church and had a nice family dinner at my Grandma's house.. it was so nice seeing everyone but it sure did feel weird without Grandpa there.. we sure to miss him alot- he was there in spirit wishing he could have some of Grandma's hommade pies!
We drove back on sunday and bagan preparing for our last week of classes.
This week has been hectic with finals and work. I had 5 finals and will be taking my last one today, and mark had two and just has been working in between tests. We are excited for summer and weather is turning nice here in Laramie!
Charlene should be having her baby anytime now and we are excited for another nephew! My mom and dad are coming down to visit this weekend so that should be a treat. Better get back to studying though, thats all for now :)
