Happy New Year 2014

Happy New Year everybody! I can't believe how quickly 2013 flied by and how crazy it is to already be 2014! We celebrated the new year like a bunch of crazies thats for sure! A whole lot of enthusiasm going on over here ;) In fact I folded two loads of laundry while catching up on our favorite sitcom Ground Floor- hilarious by the way if you have not seen it! And Mark watched football while Easton played on the floor and in the exersaucer all night. He tuckered out close to 9:20 and we turned in at 10:00 pm.... a bunch of partiers we are! Things sure change when you have a little kiddo thats for sure :) Today we went with Eric's in laws up to Deadhorse area in the Uinta Mountains for some sledding fun. The Erickson's brought their trailer loaded with lots of toys; four wheelers galore, sleds, tubes, and a pretty ingenious toboggan sled made from some thick rubber material with two by four sides. We sleighed all day! It was pretty fun to be pulled behind the four wheelers and it reminded me so much of growing up with all my cousins and Grandpa Bullinger trying his hardest to spin as many cookies in a row to buck us off the tubes on the farm snow covered fields. It was really a good time. We had some camp chef cooked chili- with hot dogs... which by the way was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G (I wasn't so sure at first and gave Glade a hard time but I loved it, its like a delicious chili dog without the soggy bun). We had some yummy dutch oven fried scones and lots of treats too. The best was hot tang which Glade was sure to make sure I got some... i'm pretty sure its just tang mix with some cinnamon and cloves mixed in hot water. But it is the best and most tasty thing you will ever drink- going to be a family favorite i'm sure. It was fun to be a part of the Erickson's fun and we are grateful Kylie is a part of our family so we can spend some time with her family they are some really good people who know how to have some really good fun! Easton was a trooper today :) He was having so much fun watching the kids sled down the hill and the four wheelers go speeding past. He even sledded on flat ground for a while until he zonked out around lunchtime for nearly 4 hours! Best nap we've had in a long time! We'll have to take this little guy on Erickson/Gillies family adventures more often. He also looked very cute in his little Carhartt overalls might I add. We have such a handsome boy on our hands. We sure had a good New Years Day!
